To provide Conceptual Design, Feasibility Study and Front-End-Engineering or Basic Design that requires the application of basic principles and fundamental theories as well as general industry and engineering best practices.The power island lead mechanical engineer provides technical inputs, study and other technical services during the project development stage. The Lead Mechanical Engineer provides technical study, advisory and other technical services during the project development stage. During project contracting, the Lead Mechanical Engineer prepares specifications and review and provide comments on offered technologies of vendors/suppliers and contractors. When the EPC contract was awarded, the Lead Mechanical Engineer reviews the design, plans and drawings and provide comments for corrections and improvements. Conduct random inspection and testing (or witness testing / commissioning) to ensure the workmanship of vendors/suppliers and contractors shall be in accordance with the project engineering specifications. During plant operations and maintenance, the Lead Mechanical Engineer provides technical services to support the plant management such as study, redesign and reconfiguration of plant systems and equipment for higher plant reliability and efficiency.Job Specifications:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, must be a licensed mechanical engineer
At least 10 years experience in power plant, thermal power plant is an advantage (at least 100MW) and energy industry (EPC experience, project management, engineering, design, operations and maintenance)
