Research and Innovation (R&I) is a professional service Directorate which supports and drives the operational delivery of the University's research strategy.The Research Excellence Co-ordinator is a new role, providing support for the planning, preparation, and administration of research assessment exercises, and important research culture agendas. The post holder will work alongside professional services and academic colleagues.They will assist with developing communications, arranging meetings, and coordinating actions.The successful candidate must have a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently, whilst always ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Experience of the research lifecycle, or research in a university environment would be advantageous.The successful candidate will play an active role in supporting a positive research culture in line with the ambitions of the University's Road to 2030 vision, our Research Strategy, and supporting activities to evidence the quality of our research environment and which underline our commitments to the career development of researchers, research integrity, the responsible use of metrics, and equality, diversity, and inclusion.How to apply:Please submit your CV and covering letter, detailing how you meet the person specification, to our online portal.
