Our client is looking for a SharePoint and Power Platform Subject Matter Expert for a 6-month contract in Woodland Hills, CA 91367.Come work for one of the largest insurance companies in the U.S. and help people and businesses become smarter and better prepared to protect the things that matter most to them.Contract Duration: 6 Months Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in Information Technology.
  • 6+ years in assessing, planning, and designing solutions based on Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, and all related core technologies, as well as preparing technical and design documents for the implementation of those solutions.
  • Experience in supporting users in building Business Cases, including cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and development of a high-level plan.
  • Experience with MS technologies and tools (the ecosystems for Microsoft 365 – Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, Entra ID, Power Platform, etc.), collaboration and communications platforms and services, cloud technologies, and their security, governance, and compliance.
  • Experience in troubleshooting system environmental issues, coordination, and working with Microsoft support, including the ability to coordinate with first- and third-party software vendors as needed for resolution of business-impacting problems.
  • Experience with M365 Security and Compliance, Advanced eDiscovery, DLP, and Azure Information Protection.
  • Strong experience with PowerShell scripting and other command-line interfaces.
  • Working experience with SQL-based databases (e.g. SQL Server or MySQL).
  • Ability to understand and design a large enterprise-level solution upon technical, application, and business requirements.
  • Knowledge of issues related to the deployment of cloud-based solutions supporting business applications (ex. IT security, data protection).
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and ability to work with and direct the work of offshore teams.
  • SharePoint Online - Design, Development, and Governance, Administration knowledge and skills.
  • Power Platform- Design, Development, Governance, and Administration knowledge and skills.
  • C#, CSOM, SPFx, JavaScript, CSS, Web Services, Python, PowerShell knowledge and skills.
  • Developing automated integrations between software applications such as SharePoint, Microsoft 365 Products, Azure, etc. experience.
  • Strong business communication and writing skills; project management and business analytics skills including project documentation and requirements gathering.
  • Explaining complex concepts and issues in simple terms knowledge and skills.
Experience with OKTA. What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise in SharePoint, Power Platform, Azure, OneDrive, and other Microsoft technologies and cloud solutions. Specific duties include coordinating with business partners, architects, analysts, and developers to provide guidance and solutions based on business requirements; developing proof of concept, managing platform upgrades, mentoring junior-level technical resources, leading technical discussions, reviewing estimates and design, providing strategic and technical guidance, solutions, governance, and best practices, ensuring that the appropriate technologies, processes and sourcing are in place.
  • Be part of the M365 team directly contributing to the analysis, design, solutions, development, deployment, integration, customization, optimization, ongoing support, and maintenance of collaboration apps, SharePoint, Power Platform, and other related services.
