- Collaborate with the Director of Pricing to implement strategic pricing decisions for new and existing motor products.
- Manage the launch pricing for innovative insurance products such as telematics-based motor insurance, tailoring strategies for multiple markets.
- Monitor and assess performance, ensuring business objectives are met across the product portfolio, and providing recommendations for adjustments based on data insights.
- Contribute to the adoption of advanced pricing techniques, including telematics and data science methods, and support innovation within the retail pricing function.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, product, data science, account management, and leadership to provide insights and achieve business objectives.
- Assist in mentoring junior team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- 3 to 5+ years experience in a retail pricing role, with a strong background in motor or insurance sectors.
- A track record of managing retail pricing strategies, with a creative mindset and willingness to challenge traditional pricing methods.
- Strong analytical and technical skills; proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or equivalent is required, with experience in data-driven approaches.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and influence key decision-makers.
- Ability to balance commercial objectives with pricing integrity and maintain a high level of analytical rigor.
- Experience in mentoring or coaching junior team members, fostering collaboration within the team.
