Offer DescriptionContext :Agriculture is an important sector to reform if global warming and massive biodiversity loss are to be limited. Biocontrol and biostimulants have been identified as strategic levers for promoting the development of agroecological principles.Despite fundamental research being well represented in France, the emergence of breakthrough innovations in crop management remains limited. The Sterile Insect Technique (SIT), has already been successfully implemented in several territories (Canada, USA, Argentina ) in the fields of health and agriculture. This technic is currently being experimented in France in several research projects, including Suzukiss Me, for which the Work package Socio-economic Analysis is the responsibility of Gredeg UMR 7321(UniCA, CNRS - Coor Dr Aura Parmentier-Cajaiba).Overall ThemeStudying the emergence of an innovative technique between scientific deployment and adoption by professional users in a multi-stakeholder context.Main goalsThe post-doc's proposal concerns the identification of elements that could foster the development of a multi-stakeholder business model for an innovative technique dedicated to highly constrained professional users (farmers in the Cherry industry) who need to green their work practices. At this stage of the technology's deployment, the research will delve into the concepts of value proposition and value network.Based on an existing dataset created during the Suzukiss ME project. The candidate will be responsible for defining the theoretical framework, collecting additional data on the Suzukiss ME project sites, and analyzing the data about the stated problem.The research is part of an organizational approach inspired by pragmatism, mobilizing in particular the theory of valuation (Dewey, 1939).Research activities:- Construction of a theoretical framework on Business model and professional user adapted to the context.- Further the inquiry among the actors of the experimentation project, and their stakeholders.- Data analysis- Scientific production and disseminationDeliverables :- Synthesis report on interviews and data collected from the Suzukiss me project- Value network scenarios- Mapping of stakeholders' valuations.- Conference papers and publicationsRequirementsResearch Field Sociology » Sociology of labour Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/QualificationsJob profile:Doctorate level in Management (Strategy) or Sociology with a strong organizational focus. You are interested in the greening of industries and have an understanding of ecological issues in productive environments. Rigorous and organized, you're also a self-starter.
