- A PhD or other doctoral qualification relevant to Dentistry and/or Oral Health and a record of research achievement of national and/or international standing, through significant research contributions in an area relevant to the Oral Health discipline, such as cariology, periodontal disease, restorative dentistry, public health and/ or oral health promotion.
- For appointment at Level D, the candidate must have a PhD and an outstanding and active record of research achievement relevant to the Oral Health discipline, as evidenced by a significant research publication output and the ability to attract research grants.
- Full registration as a dental practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), as specified in the selection criteria.
- Extensive understanding of the clinical practice of oral health therapy, supported by a significant record of high quality student centred teaching and clinical supervision in clinical dentistry and/or oral health.
