We are seeking an experienced individual to support a client's retail marketing brand and signage programs in the United States supporting various convenience retail and fuel brands. This role will support all foundational marketing activity, focused on in-store signage, promotions, grand openings and product collateral. The successful candidate will play a key support role in driving sales and conversion at the sites, leading customer touchpoints of promotions to achieve corporate store sales goals. The day-to-day focus will be to work with agency partners and cross departmentally to assist with promotions, special programming, and campaigns, leading and executing all promotional signage, implementing processes to ease and improve the promotional process in-store and assist with the post promotional analysis. You will work to improve the overall customer journey and communication tools at an in-store level and bring forward innovative ideas on how to drive backcourt purchases. You will be responsible for leading execution of the marketing promotional plan that aligns organizational priorities, customer expectations and supporting the overall business objectives.   • Lead US Marketing Execution initiatives with the planning, execution and tracking of marketing programs such as in-store/retail, vendor promotional programs, grand openings, etc.
  • Schedule marketing team meetings, draft agendas and communicate follow ups.
  • Collaborate with our internal teams and cross departments to align programs, promotional periods, offers, signage, etc. to drive sales and revenues
  • This will include leading the organization of the data from internal teams to our printer agency to ensure all signage is communicated accurately by deadlines; including the quality control of the overall promotional signage brief ensuring all information is accurate. They will need to determine signage quantities, placement, and type of signage required.
  • Approve all final assets once quality-control is met.
  • Responsible for all communication including creating all promotional planograms and leading each period's promotional kick-off meetings with Operations and Merchandise teams.
  • Lead external printer relationship for signage including core signage at site, promotional signage, program signage and new signage for new stores; from creation to quality control all the way to in store execution.
  • Quality control of images for signage; including the quality of the image (checking for cropping, right pixels, etc.) organizing and control of all images received, reporting missing images and following up with stakeholders to ensure we have all images collected by the appropriate deadlines.
  • Support the implementation of a data management tool so stores have ability to order signage as needed.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing and promotional programs.
  • Visiting stores during critical campaign launches to ensure merchandising, signage and implementation of ongoing campaigns is to standard to ensure a seamless integrated marketing campaign.
  • Working with district/area managers and visual merchandiser to achieve marketing compliance across all stores.
  • Responsible for updating signage catalogs and core signage planograms.
  • Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports.
  • Track and forecast all budgetary requirements monthly for all marketing activities, including vendor Co-op bill-backs.
  • Support and prioritize any/all ad hoc marketing requests.
  • Continue to improve business processes to enhance efficiency and program effectiveness for stores, departments, and team. Including implementing new marketing automation and project management tools
  • Other duties as specified by leadership on the Marketing and Customer Insights team.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Advertising, or related discipline
  • Minimum 4-8 years of experience in a marketing role in retail, signage, advertising agency and/or similar industry
  • Previous retail, sales or project management experience is required.
  • Convenience store experience is a bonus.
  • Ability to easily build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, strong analytics & problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
  • Incumbent must be very detail oriented, solution driven, and able to work in an ever-changing ambiguous environment.
  • Candidate must be a self-starter and able to work both independently and as a team.
  • Strong competency with all Microsoft Office programs required.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
  • Verbal and written fluency in Spanish is a bonus.
