- Be responsible for developing new, and improving existing, processes and products.
- Be responsible, within the development trajectory of a new process or product, for developing, guarding, and adjusting the time schedule and for guarding the project budget.
- Be conducting basic research resulting in obtaining knowledge about new and existing processes.
- Discuss within the project team with relevant departments regarding the development project, resulting in the realization of the project within the agreed timespan.
- Be looking for suppliers together with the Purchasing department, by delivering specifications for the product that must be purchased and the technical judgement of the offers received.
- Be providing aftercare by solving problems regarding the processes or products, to secure that the product is operating accordingly.
- Be supporting the Sales and Operations departments, regarding technical judgment of installation parts, drawing up an energy- and mass balance, and participating in technical reviews, P&ID reviews, and HAZOP’s.
- Be responsible of steering technology development, project management and technology road-mapping with internal and external parties
- Be responsible of continuing the development of expertise on specific fields of our department and contribute to training of personnel in the company
- BSc or MSc degree in Process Technology or Chemical Engineering.
- Preferable 2+ years of experience as Engineer in a Development- R&D- Test- or Process environment
- Knowledge of Project Management
- Mastering Microsoft Office
- Being able to read technical drawings and share knowledge
- Knowledge of process simulation tools, e.g., ChemCad/Aspen
- Knowledge of HAZOP’s and LOPA is an advantage
- English (good speaking and writing skills).
