- Bank reconciliations, liaising with the transaction processing team as required to resolve queries.
- Identification of and preparation and posting of general ledger journals including accruals, prepayments, payroll journals, fixed asset journals and all other required GL adjustments.
- Maintaining fixed assets registers, processing fixed asset events such as additions, disposals, revaluations, depreciation, and reconciliation of the fixed asset register to the general ledger.
- Intercompany reconciliations.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Collation of management accounting packs for review, including lead and supporting schedules.
- Supporting client external audits by preparing audit files.
- Understands and adheres to GDPR guidelines when dealing with personal information.
- Preparation of VAT returns for review by Management Accounting Lead and GCVR team.
- Ensures effective controls are in place to maintain compliance with RSM Tax and Accounting policies and procedures.
- Actively looks for opportunities to increase and expand knowledge base through research, on the job training and participation in continuous improvement projects.
- Actively searches for efficiencies while maintaining strong internal controls and minimizing risk.
- Identifies changes in client expectations and highlight to line manager.
- Any other duties required to fulfil the requirements of this position.

- Graduate. Preferably finance background, or equivalent gained through on the job experience.
- 1-2 years' experience in an accounts assistant or similar finance related role (preferred but not essential).
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Work and Outlook.
- NetSuite ERP experience an advantage but not essential.
