An Audit & Accounts Manager is required to guide a team in providing professional services, with a focus on Accounting & Finance. The role involves managing audits, overseeing accounts, and ensuring high-quality client service.· Managing of audit and accounts assignments· Overseeing of job planning and completion· Being a key point of contact for the client, covering liaison with clients on organisation of the work and work requirements, as well as advising the client on matters generally, plus being a key part of the client relationship team· Oversee and manage the on the job team on a job by job basis· Review the teams work· Report to partners on individual jobs· Attend and hold client meetings· Assist with managing the audit and accounts team generally and overall job planning and scheduling· Assist with staff management, training, development and appraisals generally· Be involved in other ad hoc advisory and support assignments for clientsGood balance of Audit and Accounts | Opportunity for progressionA successful Audit & Accounts Manager should have:
  • Have worked in an accountancy practice and have experience of running audit and accounts assignments
  • Commercially minded and analytical when reviewing and preparing figures and information
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks, Sage and Excel
  • Able to respond well to balancing work loads, methodical and organised.
  • Able to communicate well and have strong client facing skills.
  • Can work well in a team and collaborate wide range of people.
  • Have strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Proactive and able to take the initiative whilst motivating and inspiring colleagues.
