The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for the efficient Inventory Management and Cataloguing functions of our Murrin Murrin Operations in line with our policy and operational requirements.You will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the delivery of Inventory reduction initiatives on site with key stakeholders
- Ensuring management of Inventory is carried out in a manner that results in minimum total operating costs for the Company whilst achieving agreed service levels
- Assist the Procurement & Inventory team with data management, reporting and analytical support
- Provide support to the operations by ensuring the integrity of the company’s inventory catalogue is maintained to a high level at all times
- Liaise with Internal and External customers to ensure the required and agreed level of services and inventory are maintained at all times.
This role would suit a driven and professional inventory specialist looking for a Perth office based opportunity. You will also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce/Business and/or Supply Chain (preferred)
- Proven experience in Warehousing, Cataloguing and Inventory Control within the mineral resource industry
- Knowledge of accounting practices, particularly in regards to asset control (desirable)
- Highly developed skills in the area of Inventory Analysis using IBM, MROIO or similar software
- Good computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, (Oracle) word processing, presentation and (Excel) spread sheet applications
