Vickerstock are working in partnership with a building materials supplier based in Lisburn on the appointment on an experienced Material Planner.You will be responsible for the stock management of a wide range of products and materials ensuring all sites have the right level of stock required to meet demand.In your new role:

Work closely with the sales, procurement and warehouse departments
Play a key role in assisting with forecasting to prevent overstocking and running out of stock
Frequently liaise with site managers in UK & Ireland, moving stock between branches and ensuring all sites have the stock required for the smooth day to day running of the business
Work closely with suppliers and carriers ensuring all deliveries are on site on time
Work closely with the goods in department to ensure a sufficient Supply Chain at all times
Run daily KPI reports

What you will need to succeed:

A minimum of 2 years experience working in a fast paced, high volume, Inventory Planning/Stock Control role
Proficient with all Microsoft Office packages
Full UK driving license
