Our family of brands is growing and we're looking for amazing people to join us on this journey!We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Machine Learning Engineer. This role is pivotal in leveraging our proprietary data to drive the development of data-driven tools and enhance user experiences across our portfolio of interior design and ecommerce brands. The ideal candidate will be a thought partner to the business, possessing a deep understanding of both data science and machine learning techniques to identify opportunities, improve processes, and implement innovative solutions.What you'll do:
  • Research and apply advanced data science and machine learning techniques to tackle challenges such as building recommendation systems, enhancing chat workflows, generating images, extracting features from unstructured data, predicting trends, and more.
  • As part of an agile team, work to identify opportunities to leverage our proprietary data to build data driven tools and experiences
  • Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models, aimed at enhancing customer experiences and reinventing designer workflows
  • Conduct exploratory analysis to identify opportunities for developing new features
  • Engage in data engineering tasks, including accessing, transforming, modeling, and storing data, to facilitate machine learning training and feature development
What you'll bring:
  • Experience deploying machine learning models to production environments on cloud service providers (preferably GCP/AWS)
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as Tensorflow, Keras, and Scikit-learn.
  • A strong understanding of Neural Networks and their applications
  • Strong understanding of SQL and experience working with data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
  • Experience with image processing in ML models
  • Demonstrated ability to perform data engineering tasks, including data access, transformation, modeling, and storage, to enable machine learning pipelines
  • Solid foundation in machine learning, statistics, and data analysis.
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to identify and pursue opportunities for the application of machine learning and data science methods.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work as a thought partner to various stakeholders across the business.
  • A Masters degree in statistics, computer science, economics, mathematics, or a related field, or 5+ years of related work experience

  • This is a full-time remote exempt position. Denver candidates have the option to work hybrid.
  • Targeted compensation range for this role: $160-$190/year, dependent upon experience.
