Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful transition of products from design to manufacturing, while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting project timelines.Responsibilities:Collaborate with product development team to understand product specifications, requirements, and design intents.Support the development of electrical designs, schematics, and PCB layout design for new products.Participate in design reviews, risk assessment, operational readiness reviews and manufacturing specification reviews to identify potential issues and optimize product manufacturability.Collaborate with other module owners to develop EE related testing at both module and product-level and ensure the smooth deployment to production.Manage suppliers to deliver the PCA fabrication process, test methodology and ICT and FCT fabrication throughout the product development cycle and managing the deployment of these processes and testing during mass production.Participate in the resolution of technical issues encountered during the NPI process.Assist in the testing and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance with product specifications and regulatory standards.Create and maintain documentation including purchase component specification, BOMs (Bill of Materials), work instructions, detailed EE verification reports, design verification and validation plans, etc.Support manufacturing teams during the production ramp-up phase, including troubleshooting and process optimization.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance NPI processes and procedures.Other such duties that may be determined by Management.All listed tasks and responsibilities are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional tasks and responsibilities.Requirements:1+ years of experience engineering electrical, or electro-mechanical based products for commercial and industrial markets.Strong understanding of circuit theory, analog and digital electronics and use of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other relevant devices.Good working knowledge and experience in electronics, PCBA manufacturing and testing and electro-mechanical systems is essential.Product development experience in the life sciences, biotech, biomedical or nanotechnology industries is a plus.Experience with Altium or other PCBA design tools.Excellent problem-solving techniques, statistical engineering techniques, product and process capability analysis and risk assessment.Ability to translate, statistically analyze data, and effectively report problems through written and/or graphical formats.Good grasp of BOM (Bill-Of-Material) structuring fundamentals and the ability to create ECOs (Engineering Change Order) and Deviations.Demonstrated use and understanding of MRP systems, Product Data Management systems and Change Control processes. Teamcenter, SAP & PLM experiences will be added advantage.Experience with FDA regulated medical device product development preferred.Effective interpersonal and written communication skills and task prioritization capabilities.Good organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a team environment are essential.Candidate must be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, interface well with the manufacturing and service organization.Must be comfortable with a rapidly changing and fast-paced work environment.Must be able to identify different colors for work purposes.
