We invite you to be a part of our innovative journey!IntroductionAs a member of the Hydro Building Systems Lead Team, you will actively participate in the definition & implementation of Hydro Building Systems' (HBS) business strategies in South Europe. As the Vice President of Commercial South Europe, you lead, direct, and control the sales activities for South Europe to achieve the global short and long-term financial and commercial objectives as set by the SVP of Building Systems.Commercial South Europe includes today 4 countries (France, Italy, Spain and Portugal), and has around 420 employees in Sales and support sales, Marketing & Communication and Technical support.Part of the role is to ensure the correct size of the organization and product portfolio, in line with the markets and the building systems strategy, including driving sustainability and the circularity approach.Job ResponsibilitiesMore specifically, your main duties are to:
- Strategy: Plan, develop and implement strategy for commercial management to meet agreed organizational performance plans within agreed budgets (Revenues, EBITDA) and timescales.
- Management: Monitor, measure and report operational and commercial issues, pursue opportunities and development and implement actions to remediate deviations - all to ensure the agreed achievements within agreed formats and timeline.
- Leadership: Assure continued successful business operations through effective management, including change management. Selection, training, development and motivation of staff.
- Building Systems strategy: Contribute to the evaluation and development of commercial strategy and performance in collaboration with the HBS Lead Team.
- Strategic Initiatives: Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for Strategic Initiatives: Growth, Circularity, Platforming, Innovation and Digitalization.
- Collaboration: Liaise with other BU Management team members to understand necessary aspects and needs of the overall operational and commercial development, and ensure they are well informed of operational and commercial objectives, purposes and achievements of South.
- Culture & Values: Maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, employee representatives, partners and regulatory/official bodies.
- Leading and managing large multi-functional teams,
- Navigating employee relations issues in a multi-facility/ multi-cultural environment,
- Commercial skills and understanding of production/logistics processes,
- Incremental improvement; in developing and implementing business strategy and driving commercial and operational success,
- Strong communication skills to ensure employee engagement.
