- Interact with project sponsors, project partners and multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver sophisticated features
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide customer concern management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
- Plan and manage multiple parallel projects
- The ability to slice through ambiguity and drive clarity where confusion exists; demonstrating technical expertise with strong eye for business
- Enhance resources for the greater good of the organization, identify inefficient processes or waste and redirect resources as vital
- Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels
- Create, maintain and disseminate project information to customers
- Communicate project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner
- Insatiable curiosity and ability to understand architectural and technical aspects of projects
- Apply standard methodologies to the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for projects based on experiences with a number of agile and blended approaches, as well effectively coordinating the implementations across teams using very different approaches.
- Build and maintain integrated project schedules that account for internal/external dependencies, differing SDLC approaches, numerous constraints and adequately factors in some contingency for some unplanned delays while still being daring.
- 5 - 8 proven experience of delivering / leading sophisticated technical programs at a large scale
- Knowledge of ITIL standard methodologies for service and asset management
- Desirable Experience in delivering software in Agile environment; Agile certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related technical field, or related experience.
- Experience using queryable data sources to solve business impact questions
- Proven experience using a range of lean/agile project/programme management methods
- Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and resolving ambiguity
- Proven experience of stakeholder engagement and customer management at all levels of an organization
- Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong conflict resolution, negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent understanding of business objectives and goals
- Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently toward established goals
- Ability to multitask, solve problems resourcefully, and work well under pressure
