- 20+ years proven experience in quality assurance & quality control or in construction area
- 10+ years in construction project quality management position
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction project Quality Management, Project Inspection, Commissioning and Testing
- Very good knowledge of QMS - ISO 9001 in terms of project requirements
- Knowledge of construction regulation and requirements in KSA
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related field
- Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related field (preferred)
- Certified QMS ISO 9001:2015 - Lead Auditor
- Provides strategic leadership and technical, operational, and managerial leadership for successful implementation of project activities.
- Oversees the selection and training of qualified program staff, assigning clear roles and responsibilities, providing effective supervision, and managing performance to ensure efficient Project Quality Assurance
- Acts as point-of-contact for all matters relating to Quality Management on the assigned project
- Provides leadership and support to the Project Team, and liaises with the Head of Quality & Excellence (Client) to ensure consistency of approach and standards
- Develops the Project Quality Management System and creates Create a Project Quality culture - Right First Time in everything we do, so that there is personal commitment from all team members
- Assigns the day to day operational activities and task to the Quality Inspection / Auditor team for ensuring the project are following approved contractual specification.
- Review of Contract's Document such as Project Quality Plan, Inspection Test Plan, Work Inspection Request, Method Statement, Inspection methods, Material Inspection Request and any other which has quality risk involved.
- Oversee Contractor Quality Control activities and ensure Project Quality management system are well established, implemented and maintained.
- Reports and monitor the regular progress of Project Quality Assurance activities and reports to the client on weekly and monthly basis.
- Ensure inspections and tests are executed to the requirements of the contract documents
- Participate in Quality Audit and ensure effective implementation of quality audit program with respect to project
- Review of pretender stage, tender stage and post tender stage document and other deliverable of contractor along with client.
- Ensure project quality assurance throughout the project life cycle.
- Ensuring that all construction activities comply with contract requirements and work is performed by good construction practices
- Verifying that materials and equipment incorporated into the project meet contract requirements
- Providing adequate and accurate reports
- Verifying that approved Contractor submittals are available before work is performed
- Development of quality control system for the project
- Review and approval of ITPs and QCPs as required
- Ensuring that approved ITPs and QCPs are available at the work location before the start of work
- Manage the team of SQI and QI
- Ensure that appropriate quality control staff/inspectors are mobilized to ensure the effectiveness of the inspection process
- Ensuring that quality control personnel are competent to do their work
- Coordinating with Project Management for providing adequate work Environment and infrastructure
