We are a diverse and welcoming team with a broad range of skills and experience that is looking for someone to join us and help us to continue to support the business in delivering good customer outcomes.What you’ll doSupport the Head of UK Compliance Advisory and the First Line to fulfil their responsibilities under Capital One’s Compliance Management Policy and ensure company adherence to the Compliance Management Programme.Reporting to the Compliance Advisory and Reporting Principal Associate, the role involves:Partner with the business to aid their understanding of the Compliance Management Policy, supporting and challenging adherence to the Compliance Management Programme. Key areas of this partnering include:Applicability: Undertaking Compliance Applicability and Control Reviews, including the performance of On-Demand Applicability ReviewsCompliance Advice: Advising on the identification, assessment, measurement, response, and management of compliance risksChange Management: Providing compliance advice for changes that navigate the Launch risk assessment process and the Change Board processIssue and Event Management: Being the Compliance lead on operational loss events and issue management, supporting first line owners, providing advice and regulatory impact assessmentsSupporting the First Line in the development of strong controls in order to strengthen the effectiveness of the compliance control environmentPartner with key stakeholders in the UK Legal department to support the team and the wider business in interpreting and understanding the Compliance obligations the UK business facesBuilding and maintaining collaborative relationships with business stakeholders in order to influence decisionsWorking closely with the business and colleagues across UK Legal and UK Compliance to deliver key compliance projectsSupporting other compliance-related risk initiatives and risk assessments.
