This team member will manage a portfolio of logistics contracts across key sub-categories such as Road Transportation, Air and Marine (bulk & freight), Logistics IT Services, Fuel, Water & Waste Disposal; and Materials Management contracts across key sub-categories such as Warehousing services and supply of parts and materials. The materials supply includes parts required for routine maintenance and operations of the gas processing plants and other materials used by Drilling and Completions and infrastructure construction projects.To be successful in this role, this team member will develop collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders including operational delivery leads in logistics, materials management, Health and Safety, and other contracting and procurement teams. Currently Shell Canada Upstream business is using outsourced solution for Logistics and Warehouse operations. The successful candidate will ideally have strong post award contract management capabilities to ensure outsourced solutions deliver value across dimensions in HSSE, service responsiveness to new operational requests including defining and managing service KPIs and delivering continuous improvement.Given the Supply Chain team in Canada operates a lean resourcing model, this team member may also be given the opportunity to take on additional work scope as they progress in the role. This may include contracting strategy development and commercial support for Drilling and Completions, and Infrastructure projects. This team currently supports a hybrid work model, where employees have the flexibility to work 3 days a week in the office with the option to work the remaining days of the week remotely if desired.The CIG business provides global access to Western Canada’s abundant, low cost, low carbon natural gas developed at world leading social and environmental standards.
