Who are we?Founded in 1859, The Corps of Commissionaires Management Limited, now Corps Security, was a business initially built to provide employment for ex-servicemen on return from the Crimean War.By sticking true to our values of ‘loyalty, integrity, service’, we have become the UK’s most established and respected specialist security services provider.Who are we looking for?We are looking for a highly skilled individual to join us as a Security Officer to be based at a large manufacturing and distribution location on the doorstep of City Airport with a long-established background.You will be working an average of 42 hours per week. What you will need:
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
  • A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential
  • Knowledge of Tandem and Planet Press systems - Desirable
  • Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel)
  • Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
What are you going to do:
  • Liaise daily with staff and the client and operational management teams
  • Support the fulfimnet of the contracted/business objectives, through the range of duty assignments which will involve security and suppoprt duties
  • Ensure safety of customers and all staff
  • Contribute as a team member to ensure a positive customer experience for all visitors/customers
  • Patrolling using scan points
  • Incident and Alarm response
  • Managing Acces Control
  • Controlling the weights in/out of the compound
  • Intermediate CCTV monitoring and Computer usage
