We have 19 office locations serving 81 counties in Texas and New Mexico, over $2.9 billion in assets, and are a member of the nationwide Farm Credit System.About the role:As a Loan Officer for our fast-paced Denton credit office, you will recommend and approve loans in your assigned territory within the limits of specific delegated authority. You will develop and manage loan portfolios including loan originations in the trade area served by the Association. You will have some latitude for decision making and will work under moderate supervision.The big picture:You will assist in AgTrust's local effort to be the preferred provider of agricultural financial services, surpassing all others in the customer and employee experience by embracing innovation and operational excellence. In doing so, you will add increasing value to rural communities and their lifestyle.If that sounds appealing to you, come join us!Day-to-day, you will:Develop and market new business without your service area.Assist prospective and current borrowers with their credit needs and with formulating solutions to credit related issues.Make and service loans for operating equipment and real estate, offer other related services.Conduct simple to moderately complex credit analysis.Perform loan servicing tasks.Ensure that all assigned loans are properly risk rated.Perform collections on assigned loans and assist senior-level staff and management with collections on all loans in the portfolio. Work with delinquent borrowers to obtain satisfactory loan performance.Assure that adequate insurance coverage is maintained as required by loan conditions and monitor ad valorem taxes to ensure that such taxes are paid on the security.May assist with the title examination process on perspective loans.
