Job Description for this Project Architect Role The successful candidate will possess experience in private residential projects, particularly in bespoke high-end conservation work. They must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge across all stages of architectural work, with ArchiCAD experience being beneficial but not essential. This is a permanent contract position.Key Responsibilities for this Project Architect Role
  • Excellent people skills, adept at working independently or as part of a team, with the ability to manage a complex workload and gain the trust of others swiftly.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of consulting confidently with clients, design team consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated design ability with a keen eye for detail.
  • A practical problem-solving approach.
  • Thorough understanding and experience in all stages of architectural work.
  • Ability to plan and deliver programmes of work, optimising team performance, adjusting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Financial control of projects, including overseeing budgets, resources, and reporting on profitability.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK planning, building regulations, building systems, construction types, and building contracts.
  • Excellent design and technical detailing skills.
  • Working knowledge of traditional and classical architectural concepts is advantageous.
