- Advise clients on their benefits, maintain good relationships, and support the Director in running the business, including inbound sales, operational leadership, and delivering client services within SLAs.
- Assist the Director with all new business leads.
- Update Microsoft Dynamics with leads and quotations daily.
- Follow up with leads by making calls or emailing them based on the steps outlined in the sales journey.
- Assist the Director with making presentations to clients where required.
- Track Commissions following scheme installation.
- Admin & Support Roles:
- Assisting with scheme installation, requesting necessary documents, and submitting them to insurers.
- Sending documentation to insurers for timely commission receipt.
- Creating monthly fund summaries and sending them to clients and employees.
- Supporting Section14 transfers and communication to stakeholders.
- Drafting communications for members, including engagement and education.
- Assisting with incoming and outgoing members, including cancellations and tax implications.
- Providing team assistance and ensuring business compliance.
- Client Servicing:
- Managing relationships with new and existing clients.
- Delivering exceptional client service and managing client queries and concerns.
- Regularly communicating with clients.
- Brand Ambassador:
- Bringing in new business opportunities and actively engaging in social media posts.
- Best Practice:
- Utilizing Microsoft Dynamics for admin, system integration, and new leads.
- Tracking sales information live on Pipedrive.
- Leadership:
- Managing team, identifying challenges, and providing coaching.
- Developing, training, and upskilling team members.
- Providing honest feedback and supporting the Director with performance sessions every 6 months.
- Must be FAIS Compliant - minimum 120 credits and have passed RE1.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the employee benefits and retirement industry.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of insurance legislation, specifically the Pension Funds Act and recent changes to Legislation.
- Computer Literacy (MS Office package)
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle, non-negotiable.
- Sound knowledge of long-term insurance or employee benefits products.
- Knowledge of underwriting processes.
- Up to R45 000 per month.
