Company DescriptionREFID752364Job DescriptionAbout this JobYou will be responsible for leading large, complex sales engagements of NielsenIQ's Product Insights solutions across a variety of client verticals. Focus on achieving new business through the development of meaningful client relationships and ultimately closing deals. The goal is to expand and grow our Product Insights solutions within assigned accounts by possessing the unique attributes of both a hunter (drive) and a farmer (cultivate). Collaborate with Solution Architects and Client Success team members throughout the sales cycle. As an individual contributor, drives successful outcomes across complex sales phases in a timely manner. Generate new product ideas and bring the voice of the customer back to product management.Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed revenue target.
  • Execute sales initiatives: attend 1-5 tradeshows, perform cold-call lead generation, and conduct permission marketing campaigns to identify potential clients, qualify and generate sales, conduct software demos.
  • Act in a Specialty Sales role in support of the broader sales organization.
  • Self-starter to pro-actively prospect the marketplace to expand our client base and drive repeat purchases and subscriptions with buyers.
  • Use a consultative selling approach to identify client business needs, qualify, probe, scope and sell in NielsenIQ services.
  • Execute end-to-end sales process from feasibility analysis, including credit checks and pricing, negotiating terms, writing proposals, and closing the sale.
  • Develop and manage relationships with unique clients and prospects.
  • Manage client relationship and sales efforts with recurring ad-hoc clients by promptly answering client questions regarding data quality, service offering and product delivery.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Manage sales pipeline reporting with excellence.
  • Become proficient in NielsenIQ services, systems, and software tools.
  • Participate in team projects.
  • Lead larger sales organization in territory and account management activities.
  • Leading commercial strategy and sales of NielsenIQ's solutions for new clients.
  • Developing commercial elements of joint business plan.
  • Developing NIQ account plan & sales strategy.
  • Achieving sales and strategic objectives.
  • Developing strategies to win based on client segmentation and product market fit.
  • Building meaningful client relationships with client stakeholders and teams.
  • Representing voice of customer to internal product development, product marketing, communications, and delivery teams.
  • With a high degree of urgency, uncover and disseminate retailer, manufacturer, and competitive intelligence.
  • Working collaboratively with other product sales leads & cross functional partners.

Can you effectively tell a story that captures the audience, no matter what level, and bring them along your journey? Are you able to work collaboratively, as part of a remote team within a dynamic and challenging environment while maintaining high standards? Do you have experience in working with complex client relationships and client issue resolution?Qualifications
  • 5-8 years' consultative selling experience from CPG manufacturing and/or retail; NielsenIQ and/or IRI data experience essential
  • Ability to translate data knowledge into tactical and strategic solution frameworks; advanced data analytic sales preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex issues in a concise and polished manner to a diverse audience.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
