Early Years PractitionerLocation: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, BradfordJob Type: Permanent, Full-TimeSalary: £80 - £95 per dayJob Description:As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education for children in their early years, typically aged 0-5 years old. Your primary focus will be on creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children.Job Duties:
  • Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
  • Observing and assessing children's development
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers
  • Ensuring the health and safety of children at all times
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment
Required Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent
  • Valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate
  • Enhanced DBS check
Education:A relevant qualification in Early Years Education or ChildcareExperience:Proven experience working with young children in a similar settingKnowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SEN training or experience
  • Food Hygiene Certificate
Working Conditions:You will work full-time hours, Monday to Friday, in a busy early years setting. The role may require occasional flexibility in working hours to accommodate the needs of the children and parents.
