We are excited to be working on a vacancy for a Junior Buyer based in Middlesbrough, for our client who is a specialist installations business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting team to source high level products and materials. You will play a pivotal part in working towards increase company profits, whilst maintaining the quality of product. If you are a proactive individual looking for your next opportunity within construction, then this could be the role for you!Duties as a Junior Buyer:

Sourcing and purchasing goods and services
Maintaining clear communication between all parties
Being a point of contact and dealing with suppliers
Maintaining and developing relationships
Keeping on top of market trends and pricing
Negotiating deals and providing support
Dealing with invoices and queries
Assisting on other accounts where required
Handling stock and logistics
Ensure efficient and uninterrupted supply of products
Utilise approved suppliers and providers

Requirements:

Experience in a Buyer/Procurement position
Knowledge of MRP or CIPS qualified (preferred)
Strong communication skills on all levels
Excellent negotiation skills
Strong organisational skills
The ability to multi-task
Good knowledge of the procurement process

To be successful as a Junior Buyer, you will have excellent customer service skills, with natural rapport building skills and the ability to work within budgets. In return you will receive a salary between £24,000 – £26,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus company benefits, working Monday-Friday, with an earlier finish on a Friday.APPLY TODAY!
