The RFP Writer serves as the primary writing and editing resource in the development, completion, and on-time submission of proposals. The role of the RFP writer requires someone with attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to form client relationships. We are looking for a dynamic individual who works well in a team environment and has at least 1-2 years of work experience and or a business degree. Job Type: Full-time: Monday to Friday - 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (times to be adjusted as needed). Training Period (approximately 3 months) - 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (time to be adjusted as needed). Responsibilities: Identify RFP opportunities from key sources (i.e. MERX), evaluate chances of winning, prepare responses, and track results. Research and identify reusable content (e.g. proposal boilerplates) that the proposal team can leverage. Collaborate with cross functional team members to gather pricing and other proposal components Provide guidance on proposal content and provide content editing support. Manage project timelines throughout all stages from draft to delivery Ensures the structural requirements, mandatory and rated criteria of each RFP have been addressed; Deliver completed written proposal responses to the Proposal Manager against agreed RFP deadlines, escalating issues as required Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of company products and services, competitive information and industry trends Develops and maintains the Proposal Content Database to ensure the content is accurate and up to date. Build and maintain client relationships from successful RFP proposals with account management.
