  • Identify and solve complex, systematic problems in the domain of tools, pipeline, and workflow development
  • Partner with artists and engineers to develop and improve user-friendly tools, efficient pipelines, and optimal workflows that aid in the development and iteration of game content
  • Gather user requirements, design, implement, debug, test, and maintain quality code
  • Optimize existing codebases and workflows
  • Collaborate with our QA team to create and strengthen unit testing workflows
You are/you have…
  • 3+ years of experience with developing content creation tools and/or workflows
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Python
  • Experience with DCCs such as Houdini, Maya
  • Knowledge of content creation (e.g. modeling, shading) and software engineering best practices (e.g. design patterns, object-oriented design)
  • Experience creating and developing unit tests
  • Experience working with artists, engineers, and content creators
  • Experience creating comprehensive user documentation
Bonus if you have…
  • Familiarity with game engines such as Unreal, Frostbite, Unity, etc.
  • Experience with UI/UX
  • Experience using USD-based workflows
  • Experience using Git
BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThe base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. º $96,400 - $133,900 CAN AnnuallyBase salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
