- Identify and solve complex, systematic problems in the domain of tools, pipeline, and workflow development
- Partner with artists and engineers to develop and improve user-friendly tools, efficient pipelines, and optimal workflows that aid in the development and iteration of game content
- Gather user requirements, design, implement, debug, test, and maintain quality code
- Optimize existing codebases and workflows
- Collaborate with our QA team to create and strengthen unit testing workflows
- 3+ years of experience with developing content creation tools and/or workflows
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Python
- Experience with DCCs such as Houdini, Maya
- Knowledge of content creation (e.g. modeling, shading) and software engineering best practices (e.g. design patterns, object-oriented design)
- Experience creating and developing unit tests
- Experience working with artists, engineers, and content creators
- Experience creating comprehensive user documentation
- Familiarity with game engines such as Unreal, Frostbite, Unity, etc.
- Experience with UI/UX
- Experience using USD-based workflows
- Experience using Git
