We empower our people and are dedicated to their professional development and growth.Veoneer Safety Systems - Saving Lives Every Day.What you'll do:Role of Selling General & Administrative (SGA) Expense and Working Capital (WC) Controller will report to the VP of Corporate Control. Role will support Financial Reporting and Analysis of the Veoneer Group, including performing financial analysis to ensure that the results are accurately reported.
  • Provides monthly variance analysis and reporting on actual vs. forecast/plan results, financial analysis and business support
  • Working Capital for forecasting, planning and monthly reporting, variance analysis and reporting on actual vs. forecast/plan results
  • Supports all SG&A departments for forecasting, planning and monthly reporting
  • Partners closely with global controllers in the month-end close process to ensure accurate reflection of SG&A and Working Capital
  • Collaborate with various departments including finance, operations, and sales to capture relevant data and insights for financial analysis
  • Create, maintain, and improve financial models & reports
  • Conduct in-depth cost analysis to optimize resource allocation, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure alignment with budgetary goals
  • Assist in tracking and controlling expenses across departments
  • Analyze current/past financial data and performance, prepare reports, financial projections, and other analysis of operational results
  • Assist in the preparation of the presentations for the senior leadership team
  • Provide a variety of Ad-Hoc Reports and Analysis
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting, analysis, and planning processes
What you'll bring:
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience and responsibility in financial reporting roles
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required
  • Strong computer /software experience, including Excel
  • Finance experience in automotive industry
  • HFM experience
  • PowerBi or equivalent
  • Positive mindset and active team player
  • Comfort with ambiguity and strong desire to contribute to growth of the business
  • Flexibility to contribute to operations of the business outside of one's core responsibilities when necessary
  • Proactive communicator and ability to work with people globally
  • Self-motivated
