Location: Dublin, IrelandRole Overview: As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety throughout our production processes. You will play a pivotal role in implementing and maintaining our quality management system, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities: * Develop, implement, and maintain a robust quality management system in line with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Establish and enforce quality control measures and procedures to monitor all stages of production, from raw materials sourcing to finished product distribution.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards, food safety regulations, and internal policies.
- Lead investigations into quality incidents, non-conformances, and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and other relevant departments to address quality issues and drive process improvements.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality-related matters, ensuring awareness and adherence to quality standards and protocols.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and third-party vendors to ensure the quality and integrity of incoming materials and services.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies in food quality and safety, recommending and implementing enhancements as appropriate.
- Prepare and present quality reports and performance metrics to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for optimization.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related field. A Master's degree would be advantageous.
- Proven experience 2+ years in a similar quality management role within the food industry, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, HACCP, BRC, etc.) and relevant food safety regulations (EU regulations, FSSC 22000, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to drive data-driven decision-making.
