- Designing and managing ecological surveys and associated mitigation
- Undertaking extended phase 1 habitat surveys, UK Habitat Classification surveys, phase 2 and protected species surveys
- Producing and reviewing a range of reports
- Liaising with clients, professional advisors, contractors and the general public.
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with clients, subcontractors and other third parties

- 4+ years post-graduate experience in ecological consultancy
- Bachelors degree in a relevant subject and Associate membership of CIEEM or higher
- Strong field skills covering a range of protected species and habitats, ideally with at least one survey license or working towards
- Knowledge of BREEAM, Defra Biodiversity Metric, and UK Habitat Classification with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and planning policy
- Experience writing fee proposals, managing projects and liaising with clients
- Excellent report writing skills / experience (including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and Ecological Impact Assessments)
- Full UK manual driving license
