A Learning Specialist is expected to: Learning Specialist/Trainer Job Summary: Main objective is to design and implement effective learning and training programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of all employees within FMC. Additionally, Trainers assess the learning needs of adult learners within specific target groups. Beyond initial training, trainers also offer cross-training, updates, refresher courses, and recurrent training. They deliver various training events and evaluate the effectiveness of educational curricula and training programs in their respective areas of expertise. Functional Responsibilities: Training Program Development: Collaborate with all employees including Team Leaders, Managers, and Higher Management to identify training needs and design targeted learning programs. Develop engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, webinars, job aids, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, and reference works. Leadership Development: Design leadership development programs that align with the company's leadership competencies and goals. These programs may include workshops, seminars, online courses, coaching sessions, and mentoring opportunities. Staying updated on the latest trends and best practices in leadership development to incorporate innovative approaches into the training programs. Executive Leadership Development: Develop specialized leadership programs for top-level executives and high-potential leaders, focusing on strategic decision-making, organizational vision, and leadership at a senior level. Process Improvement: Take a lead role in the creation and management of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Work collaboratively with departmental Team Leads, QA and Team Experts to document best practices, processes, and procedures across all functional areas. Regularly review and update SOPs to ensure they remain accurate and aligned with evolving standards. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities for process enhancement. Streamline workflows to boost overall efficiency and optimize our customer support procedures. A core aspect of this role involves conducting comprehensive assessments of our current processes, meticulously evaluating each step to identify areas for improvement. Knowledge Management: Collaborate with teams to improve and maintain our Knowledge Base of frequently asked questions, best practices, and resources for employee self-learning. Product Training Specialist: Primary focus will be on delivering comprehensive training tailored to our companyu0027s products and services for our employees. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our team members are well-versed in the intricacies of our offerings, enabling them to provide exceptional support to our customers. Knowledge Transfer: Develop and deliver engaging training programs that empower employees with in-depth knowledge about our process, products, and services. Ensure that they have a strong understanding of the whole company's process. Support in Business Continuity Plan: Training and Upskilling: Learning Specialists design and deliver training programs to equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed to transition into new roles. This includes both technical skills and soft skills necessary for different positions. Cross-Training: Implementing cross-training programs to ensure that employees are versatile and capable of performing multiple roles within the organization. Cross-training prepares the workforce to handle fluctuations in workload more effectively. Scalability: Working with management and department heads to create scalable processes that can accommodate fluctuations in workload. This could involve having a pool of trained employees who can be deployed as needed. Performance Support: Offer ongoing support and coaching to employees, ensuring their continuous growth and development throughout their tenure. Process Analysis: Conducting thorough assessments of existing workflows and processes across various departments and functions to identify areas for improvement and potential bottlenecks. Performance Evaluation: Assess the impact and effectiveness of training and development initiatives through feedback sessions, performance metrics, and evaluations. Use the findings to make informed decisions on revising or recommending changes to instructional objectives and methods. Engage in interview sessions: Conducting interviews with potential candidates to assess their qualifications, skills, and cultural fit with the organization. Collaborating with Leaders and Managers to understand the specific needs and requirements for each position. Assisting in the development of interview questions and evaluation criteria to ensure a comprehensive candidate assessment and will provide valuable feedback and insights on candidates to contribute to the hiring decision-making process. Training Delivery: Facilitate dynamic training sessions, and virtual classes catering to new hires, existing employees, and leadership/management teams. Employ a diverse range of instructional techniques and innovative technologies to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and impactful learning experiences. Onboarding and Orientation: Facilitate smooth onboarding processes for new employees across FMC, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of company policies, procedures, and job-specific tasks. Certification Process Management: Design a certification process to evaluate and recognize employeesu0027 skills and competencies acquired through training. Establish assessment criteria and evaluation methods to determine employee eligibility for certification. Issue certificates to employees who meet the certification requirements. Employee Development Support: Provide personalized guidance and support to employees seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge. Offer mentorship and coaching to help employees achieve their professional development goals. Continuous Improvement: Promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement by encouraging employees to adopt efficient processes and providing ongoing support and coaching. Change Management: Assisting in the implementation of process changes, supporting employees during transitions, and ensuring successful adoption of new and improved workflows. These functional responsibilities encompass various areas and teams within Freedom Mobility Center, ensuring a comprehensive approach to employee development and learning across the organization. What it takes to be part of our team: Experience as a Learning Specialist, Instructional Designer, or a similar role Knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and e-learning platforms. Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, such as Green Belt or Black Belt, can be beneficial Bachelor's degree in education, Instructional Design, Healthcare Management, or a related field Experience working in a healthcare account is a plus! Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
