Our company is currently recruiting an experienced Mechanical QA Engineer to be working onsite in Denmark for a leading engineering services contractor currently involved in complex technical projects in life sciences, pharmaceutical and data centre schemes across Europe. The organisation’s division includes Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sprinkler and Fire Protection and also offer other exceptional services in Off Site Fabrication, Waste to Energy (BioEnergy), Technical Support Services, Asset Management, Specialist Lift, Maintenance, BIM (Building Information Modelling) and Geo-Surveying.As a Mechanical Quality Engineer for our client’s construction projects in Denmark, you will play a vital role as a part of our mechanical subcontracting team, specifically focusing on data centre projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the adherence to quality standards and regulations throughout the project's lifecycle. You will be involved in the planning, coordination, and execution of quality control procedures, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to guarantee the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and efficient mechanical systems for data centre facilities. You will monitor and inspect mechanical installations, conduct rigorous testing, and maintain meticulous records of quality metrics to assess and improve project performance. Additionally, you will actively participate in resolving any quality-related issues that may arise, employing your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure the successful completion of each project to the highest standards.Key Skills and Requirements:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Engineer with a strong background in construction, particularly in data centre projects, and a deep understanding of mechanical systems. The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, coupled with several years of experience in quality control and assurance within the construction industry. Knowledge of European construction codes, regulations, and industry best practices is essential for this role. You should be well-versed in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements to facilitate effective quality management processes.The successful candidate must possess exceptional attention to detail and demonstrate proficiency in conducting comprehensive inspections and tests of mechanical installations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are critical, as you will be collaborating with a diverse team of professionals, subcontractors, and clients. Moreover, a proactive approach to problem-solving, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently are highly valued traits.
