In collaboration with IT, the team works with internal clients on augmenting analytics into their operations as well as identifying and communicating significant business trends.The Analyst, Advanced Analytics role plans, designs, develops, and deploys reporting and analytics throughout the organization, while objectively evaluating the effectiveness of various sales and marketing activities using appropriate data mining techniques.What You Will Do:Marketing, events, sales campaign analysis (AB tests, Pre vs. Post)Support sales and marketing targeted campaignsParticipate in customer level analytical/research projectsResearch and Prototype advanced statistical/AI modelsComplete ad-hoc requests for analysis, data extraction and information gatheringR&D new analytical tools and techniquesAugment periodic management reportingWorks with tech groups to identify and resolve any data, environment, or implementation issuesWhat We’re Looking For:Completion of University degree (Business, Analytics, Math/Statistics or Computer Science related) or equivalent work experienceOver 2-3 years of relevant work experienceExperience employing various statistical modelling and data analysis techniques, such as linear / logistic regression, decision trees, affinity analysis, clustering/segmentation and time series forecastingExperience deciphering complex data and effectively communicating results to managementDemonstrated proficiency with enterprise analytics software (e.g KNIME, Python, R)Experience with business intelligence software (Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI)Experience applying advanced consumer intelligence / marketing techniquesAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPointThe Following are Assets:Knowledge and experience in financial services, with a focus on the investment industryExperience in database design, SQL, VBA and GIS softwareExperience in Python and R programmingCertification in MS Office, SAS, KNIME, Snowflake, TableauThe Expertise You Bring:Ability to communicate quantitative data into a visually engaging storyExperience applying advanced consumer intelligence / marketing techniquesExperience deciphering complex data and effectively communicating results to stakeholdersExcellent time management skills with ability to work in a high performing culture with time sensitive deadlinesSolid interpersonal and organizational skills combined with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing business environmentsAbility to work both independently and as part of a team; a self-starter with a positive attitudeGenuine interest in capital markets, financial industry, banking, future state of technology like artificial intelligence & machine learningCurrent work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangementFidelity Canada is an equal opportunity employerFidelity Canada is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
