  • Manage and socialize a comprehensive migration strategy implementing controls, tracking, and reporting to assess the health of migrations catching, raising, and mitigating issues early.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive shared sense of ownership for smooth migration outcomes. Set the foundation for predictable and repeatable migration excellence.
  • Drive a calm, collaborative sense of urgency around migration issues; facilitate RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for issues and implement comprehensive solutions to pain points that consider stakeholder needs.
  • Develop and implement migration policies, procedures, and best practices for data, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Manage and coordinate migration teams, resources, and activities across multiple customer projects and locations.
  • Ensure compliance with security, quality, and regulatory standards and requirements for migration projects.
  • Communicate and collaborate with senior management, business units, IT departments, and external vendors to ensure alignment and integration of migration solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend migration tools, technologies, and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of migration processes.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to migration staff and consultants.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in migration and cloud computing.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 5 years of experience in customer-facing migration projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex and large-scale migration projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional issues and balance competing priorities
  • Skilled in effectively engaging C-Suite, team members, customers and stakeholders to build partnerships and achieve program goals
  • Strong knowledge and experience in data, application, and infrastructure migration methodologies, tools, and technologies.
  • Expertise in cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively.
  • Certification in project management, migration, or cloud computing is a plus
