We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable management, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication skills. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our company while working in a collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals for invoices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant regulations.
- Assist with month-end close activities and provide support for audits.
- Handle vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
- Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in accounts payable or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Fluent English, good skills in German / French, Italian or Spanish highly advantageous
- Based in Dordrecht
