Read more: .This recruitment is carried out anonymouslyJob descriptionMetsä Board, Europe’s leading producer of premium fresh-fibre based paperboards and innovative and sustainable packaging solutions, is looking for aLogistics Junior Specialist with Englishfor temporary position (2 years) to join our Last Leg Logistics Team in Metsä Board’s new European Supply Chain Centre (SCC) in Gdańsk.Your role in the future Metsä:

Ensure regular communication to meet delivery needs and provide Logistic support within Metsä Board organization
Pro-actively follow up requested delivery in time and full (OTIF), service, payload, optimal transport mode according to agreed distribution channel
Ensure and monitor that service levels, distribution channels and vendor services are executed according to agreement
Follow-up transport requests through to final delivery, including tracking and tracing
Follow up and escalate claims for anomalies and deviations in Logistics Planning and coordinate corrective actions
Provide support to sales functions to determine lead times and distribution costs to serve new and existing businesses
Support monthly summary of transport scorecard reports along with tracking metrics
Execute warehouse specific tasks where applicable
Work according to team targets, company’s policies, procedures and values

What is required from you:

Fluency (written and spoken) in English
Good interpersonal skills
Verbal and written communication skills
Service and solution minded with problem solving skills
Prioritization, organisational and decision-making skills
Basic cargo loading capacity planning skills
