Rhif FfonMaes Y Mynydd Primary School has a temporary post required to deliver teaching and learning experiences within our Key Stage 2 department, to commence September 2024 for a temporary period.The Governing Body of Maes Y Mynydd wish to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and inspiring classroom practitioner for the above post. Maes Y Mynydd is a caring and dedicated school, which secures high standards for pupils’ learning and wellbeing. The successful candidate will:
  • Believe in a holistic approach to teaching and learning where the well-being of pupils is at the core of your practice.
  • Demonstrate high expectations and an understanding of the diverse range of children’s learning and behavioural needs.
  • Awareness of new initiatives within teaching such as the Curriculum for Wales and Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Reform.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to work within the Key Stage and school team, effectively manage and support teaching assistants and communicate well with parents/guardians.
  • Be confident and creative in the use of digital technology.
  • Be willing to take an active part in the wider life of the school.
  • Promote the Welsh language, culture and traditions as part of their daily practice.
