Our clients are some of the most creative people in the industry and rightfully the most demanding.Working in close relationship with the Vice-President of production, the Live Event Director focuses on project handling, technical advisory & production assistance. Accordingly, this person orients, guides and oversees the Production Project Management Team. As a key player in the delivery of our immersive live experiences, this person must assure a solid technical synergy with the Sales Team.The main responsibilities for this position are the following:Guide, lead and oversee the Production Project Managers, the production coordinator and the Technical Director.Oversee and coordinate the resources needed for projects with a defined scope, start and completion point.Stay aware of project status and prioritize situations that require attention.Develop strategies by understanding the overall company, knowing the changes in progress, and being familiar with the company's different clients and productsProvide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to team members to foster professional growth and development.Participate actively in developing and optimizing the delivery processes for the Production Vice-presidency.Collaborate closely with the Sales Management to ensure technical synergy.Collaborate closely with the Production Crew Director to ensure efficient delivery processes.Develop and put in place a process for evaluating the Project Managers to ensure performance standards are met and to provide feedback for improvement.Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting open communication and teamwork.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or feedback.Actively participate in post-event debriefs with the team and the Production Crew Director, to review performance and identify areas for improvement.Implement feedback and recommendations to enhance processes and deliver better outcomes for future events.Competencies and requirements for the position:Bachelor Degree in a relevant field of expertiseStrong leadership and management skills, with 8 to 10 years years of experience in leading teams in fast-paced environments, and in different timezones.3 to 5 years years of experience in the entertainment industry.Experience in providing strategic, technical, operational, financial, and managerial leadership to implement project activities successfully.Background of conducting regular reviews to ensure all project activities are accountable, accurate, and meet financial deliverables and obligations.Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to thrive under pressure.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and knowledge of functional FrenchAvailability to travel up to 20% of the time.
