To aid and assist in the planning & overall operation of Student Life & Development (SLD) activities to maintain and develop student involvement in Ivy Tech campus life.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Staff and monitor the Office of Student Life, Leadership, and Development.Assist with developing and maintaining an electronic database to keep track of office visitors, student attendance, and overall evaluation.Be knowledgeable and current with all SLD programming and events.Provide ideas, design flyers, and create marketing plans for student recruitment.Create and maintain office visual appearance.Track office supply inventory.Respond to and follow up with student, staff, and faculty inquiries (including, but not limited to, health and wellness inquiries) by phone, email, and office visits.Maintain campus bulletin boards in accordance with SLD flyer posting policies.Remain flexible in planning, assisting with, and carrying out SLD campus events/activities.Monitor and report feedback on SLD activities, providing relevant management information.Other tasks as assigned.This is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards.SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Director of Student Life, Development, and LeadershipSUPERVISION GIVEN: N/ACLASSIFICATION: Part-Time/Federal Work StudyMinimum Qualifications:Must have a high school diploma or GED.Completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need.Maintain a minimum of 6 credit hours of enrollment in eligible courses.Maintain an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status.Conduct all activities within the established guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).Self-motivated and able to work independently.Strong oral and written communication skills.Display a professional appearance and demeanor.Ability to work as a team member.Projects a positive image for Ivy Tech Community College.Salary: $15.00 per hourIvy Tech Community College is an accredited, equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
