An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Estimator to join a regional contractor working in on a full time, permanent basis in Thatcham. In this role as a Senior Estimator, you will be working alongside the Pre Construction Manager, tendering on new build and refurbishment projects in the commercial, education, industrial and leisure sectors, ranging from £500K - £15M.Further to this, you will be managing 2-3 projects at any one time, also dealing with post tender queries.Senior Estimator Duties: - Preparation of and submitting tenders, working alongside the Preconstruction Team. - Work alongside the Project Planner, Bid Manager and Design Manager. - Client liaison and attending site visits. - Utilise supply chain when preparing tenders. - Participate in post-tender meetings with Clients. - Complete take-offs from bid documents to identify labour, material and time requirements. - Maintain and create strong and positive working relationships.Benefits - Company car or allowance - 24 days holiday plus bank holidays - Pension contribution - Other company perks In return, the client offers a good work opportunity, on going training and progression, with a good work/life balance.If you are interested in the Senior Estimator role, please click the apply button now or contact Alex at One Way for more information.
