This subsidiary, focused on development and investment in both local and broader African markets, is seeking a dedicated finance professional to join their team.The ideal candidate will expertly maintain complete general ledgers, manage monthly bank and ledger reconciliations, and handle the Fixed Asset Register. Responsibilities include submitting timely VAT returns, processing tenant deposits, and preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS. They will also provide support to property managers, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with financial controls. Proficiency in Great Plains, strong organizational skills, and a solid background in finance or accounting are essential for this pivotal role.Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom Honours or at least a Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3-5 years of relevant experience as an Accountant
- Audit experience is a beneficial addition
- Proficiency in preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS
