- Based in Winnelli, Darwin and also responsible for the Alice Spring deport, this role will find you managing, supervising the teams and providing direct of administration workflow, performance management and annual appraisals
- Responsible for the preparation and achievement of annual budget, you will achieve budgeted sales, service charges and customer growth targets including effective margin management.
- Managing the center's P&L performance within budget, you improve efficiency and capability through existing and new processes
- You will work with operational staff and regional schedulers to assist with management of transport fleet
- Recruiting, mentoring, retaining and developing a motivated team consistent with Elgas philosophies and goals will set you and your team up for success
- In addition, you conduct weekly team and monthly safety meetings
- No specific Tertiary or Business qualifications is required, however your previous training in people management or financial skills may be beneficial
- You bring excellence in negotiation and have prior sales experience with the ability to deliver on targets - minimum 3 years
- Also, you bring your previous experience in a Logistics and Transport - desirable
- Sound business acumen and P&L ability - highly desired
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with effective time management skills
- In addition, you have proficiency in Microsoft Office & Excel
- Current Driver's license is essential
