You build trust, by clear communication with no prestige.If the above sounds like you, this position might be just what you’re looking for!About the jobWe are looking for a proactive and passionate HR Business Partner who believes in growing people and partnering key leaders to drive the business strategies.You will be supporting the company by providing both tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of the business objectives.You will act as a change agent to the business through process design and approaches that support change and transformation – striving to lead mutual processes to best practice status.You can analyse trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions; programs and policies. You provide advice to Business Managers regarding employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application and talent management and development.This position plays a pivotal role in reinforcing Alfa Laval culture, promoting diversity and inclusion, leading employee engagement to support change and transformation, focusing on fostering a positive colleague engagement and building a great place to work.This position will be based in Australia, Syndey . This role will report directly to the Managing Director, Oceania and matrix reporting to Cluster HR for South East Asia & Oceania. The position will be part of the Oceania Management TeamJob DescriptionStrategic Partnering:
  • Drive and execute activities in line with the Business plan, the Global People strategy and Divisional focus to meet strategic and commercial objectives.
  • Drive Leadership development and team development activities to grow the capabilities and performance in the local organization.
  • Coach, challenge, and support local managers.
  • Support managers in resource planning and aligned in recruitment of business-critical positions.
  • Support with HR data analytics and drive actions in line with the organization and global objectives.
  • Build a great place to work and promote the working culture where processes are followed to secure service delivery quality.
Competence Development:
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development for an effective training program relevant to the sales transformation journey.
Talent Management:
  • Promote cross fertilization between the different business organizations in the region.
  • Secure and follow-up that activities from the Talent reviews are carried out.
  • Support managers in succession planning activities through the identification of successors and individual development plans.
  • Recruitments
  • Develop a recruitment strategy long term for the business
Other HR related duties:
  • Manage immigration processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Handle employee relations matters, fostering positive relationships between employees and the organization.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional projects, providing HR expertise and support.
  • Take responsibility for health and safety functions, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
What you know
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent with at least 7 years of relevant local working experience in Oceania.
  • Reasonable level of business literacy and can comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate information to support actionable HR activities.
  • You are proficient with MS Office Suite (added advantage in Power BI) and work strongly with data analytics.
  • Experience in Tools such as workday
  • Excellent communication (including presentation skills ) and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
