Teledyne CML Composites has positioned itself, and is recognised as one of the worlds leading suppliers in composites and supports the business strategy of continuous growth and technical innovation.With an orderbook extending out into the next decade, we are looking for new colleagues to join our thriving company.What you'll be involved in:Reporting to the Engineering & NPI Manager, this is a role for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer within composites fields, knowledge of cleanroom operations, best practices and improvements.Key Responsibilities:Lead Composite manufacturing improvements, including identifying & delivering future composite cleanroom development projects.Being involved in developing processes for new and upcoming programmes for key aerospace and defence customersAssist in the development of future processes to enable the continued growth of the Teledyne CML manufacturing capabilitiesAid and advise cleanroom staff on best practices and principles.You will be at the forefront of manufacturing change management to aid in future proofing the composites business.Internal Customer/Supplier interface on specific projects.Assisting the Engineering & NPI Manager in developing current and future capability modelsBe responsible for the well-being and Health & Safety of yourself and fellow workers.What we're looking for in you:Experienced composite professional, demonstrable knowledge of pre-preg hand layup techniques.Ideally have experience of training/developing/mentoring of junior colleagues within composites manufacturing.Experience of working with and aiding in the development of Composites Manufacturing processesKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools.We offer a range of benefits that include:
