- Provide the leadership, vision and direction to bring together and prioritize the departmental goals in a way that will be efficient and effective
- Serve as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors
- Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocate sound financial/business decision making; demonstrate honesty/integrity; lead by example
- Ensure compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards and procedures by training, supervising, follow-up and hands on management
- Manage day-to-day operations, ensure the quality, standards and meets the expectations of the customers on a daily basis
- Manages service delivery in outlets to ensure excellent service from point of entry to departure
- Extend personal service and attention to all guests, with particular emphasis to VIP guests
- Liaise with the F&B team to ensure proper communication of amenities and guest requests
- Maintain effective communication with all related departments and outlets to ensure a smooth service delivery
- Maintain high visibility in public areas during peak times
- Act as the guest service role model for the restaurants, set a good example of excellent customer service and create a positive atmosphere for guest relations
- Handle guest problems and complaints, ensure corrective action is taken to continuously improve service results
- Incorporate guest satisfaction, and financial achievements as vital components of departmental meetings with a focus on continuous improvement
- Provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and performance management
- Solicit employee feedback, utilizes an "open door" policy and review employee satisfaction results to identify and address employee problems or concerns
- Ensure recognition is taking place across areas of responsibility
- Identify training needs and ensure employees receive on-going training to understand guest expectations
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in F&B operations, with 2 years’ experience in a senior role (premium and luxury hotels & resorts experience preferred). Experience of working with brand standards
- Proficiency in Russian and English, Kazakh language will be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, a team player & builder with an eye for detail, and commitment to doing everything you can to get it right first time for our guests and colleagues
- Highly organized, result oriented with the ability to be flexible with hours, days off, assignments and additional duties
