Learn more at https://www.jnj.comJob Function: FinanceJob Sub Function: Finance Business PartnersJob Category: ProfessionalAll Job Posting Locations: North Ryde, New South Wales, AustraliaJob Description:Purpose:The Senior Finance Analyst will lead the OCNIS and Inventory processes for the ANZ MedTech business, playing a key role in tracking and analyzing business performance while partnering with various business units to drive improvements.Key Accountabilities:1. Business Planning & Reporting
  • Act as the business unit contact lead for OCNIS and Inventory.
  • Prepare the OCNIS and Inventory Plan during key cycles (FBP/JU/NU).
  • Track and analyze financial commitments, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Free Cash Flow management.
  • Identify Risks & Opportunities in relation to Financial Targets.
  • Support the preparation and consolidation of presentations for local and regional stakeholders.
  • Collaborate and build partnerships with other finance tiers including FP&A COE, GS Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Compliance groups, and Corporate COE (Tax, Treasury).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and simplification activities.
2. Compliance & Best Practice
  • Ensure all monthly and quarterly SOX requirements are met.
  • Champion and coordinate the implementation of WWP/guideline changes in their area.
  • Support internal and external audits, statutory, and legal requirements as required by GS and Tax COE.
3. Month-End, Quarter-End, and Annual Processes
  • Perform monthly budgeting vs. actuals analysis (BVA) to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Generate regional and local inventory reports.
  • Review ESO and other inventory provisions, participating in ESO meetings to gain insights into management decisions.
  • Prepare quarterly ESO forecast files, coordinating inputs from Commercial and Planning teams and evaluating the impact of changes from previous forecasts.
  • Conduct annual preparation of Stratification files and assess financial implications of changes.
  • Perform Annual Cost Roll Analysis to evaluate Inter Company Price (ICP) adjustments.
  • Review and approve cross charges ensuring accuracy.
4. Supply Chain Projects
  • Support projects related to OCNIS and Inventory management.
  • Conduct scenario analyses to inform strategic decision-making, providing insights into potential outcomes and impacts on inventory and financials.

Qualifications:Essential:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Financial certification in CPA/CA or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance or accounting.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of SOX controls and US GAAP.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as SAP, Tableau, and TM1.
