Job Title: Teaching Assistant (PMLD)School: SENDLocation: Chippenham, WiltshirePay: £12.86 per hourThe School and RoleAre you passionate about supporting children with additional needs on their learning journeys?I would love to hear from any enthusiastic, motivated people who want to become Learning Support Assistantsin a specialist school in Chippenham.You will be supporting children either 1:1 or in the general class who have profound and multiple learning difficulties. You will need to be reliable and flexible as each day is different!You do not need any qualifications – just the ability to engage and inspire children with additional needs.The hours for a Learning Support Assistantare full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:50 – 15:20, term-time only.There are a range of short term and long term roles available.RequirementsThe ideal SEND Learning Support Assistant will have:
  • Recent experience supporting children or adults with additional needs
  • A caring, patient nature
  • Friendly and nurturing qualities
  • Well organised and reliable
