Tax Assistant - VR/29530

• As a Tax Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Tax Department in managing tax-related matters for our vessels worldwide.
• Assisting with tax compliance activities, including preparing tax returns and supporting documentation.
• Conducting research on tax laws and regulations in various jurisdictions to ensure compliance.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders/tax advisors to gather relevant financial information for tax reporting purposes.
• Assisting with tax planning initiatives to optimise our tax position and minimise risks.
• Providing support during tax audits and responding to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Finance or accounting qualification preferable.
• Previous experience in a tax-related role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members across different departments and regions.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality in work.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
