Out of hours Veterinary Surgeon, ExeterLooking for an Exciting OOH's Role within a friendly and Supportive Team?EVES is a well-established OOH service with a great reputation and a passion for delivering excellent care to our interesting caseload. The majority of our OOHs vets & nurses have worked here for years and we have a real sense of team. Our nurses are just as fabulous (and important) as our vets, and we all support each other when things get tough to make sure that we all stay in love with our careers. We can offer you real flexibility in the shift pattern that you work - so don't let any misconceptions about rota patterns stop you from exploring this great opportunity. Instead, if this role might be for you, then drop us a line or speak to us and tell us what you need.We can support those new to OOHs through our ECCelerate programme - which offers a 5-day practical residential week and tonnes of theory to build your competence and confidence. (All within your CPD allowance and with no lengthy tie-ins) On the flip side, we also offer fully funded certificates for those looking to advance their skills. We are situated within a well-equipped hospital in the heart of Exeter (it's literally a 30-second walk to the train station, so very easy to commute to if you wish) and we are committed to provide the very best care to the cases that we see. We staff our shifts accordingly, with a twilight vet available on the majority of shifts. (We'd love to say 'all' ...but we simply don't like breaking promises!)We work very closely with our day team, with the advantage of having Advanced Practitioners in Surgery and Cardiology. They are supported by a fabulous team of experienced RVN's and dedicated support staff. We all work together to offer 24hr care to our patients and to maximise case continuity.A passion for great care ( towards animals, clients and our team) is our greatest priority in recruiting this role……and we will make this role work for those candidates who live these values, offering clinical development and coaching where needed to give someone the confidence to say yes to a job we believe they will love.Salary to £74K FTE DOESome of our benefits include
